I am a writer and multimedia artist exploring the generational threads between the women in my family—the womb as a keeper of memory, migration, and becoming. My Mexican, German, and Scottish heritage shapes how I understand lineage and loss, and how stories travel across borders, bodies, and time.
Through storytelling, I honor the matriarchs who came before me while tracing my own passage into motherhood. I return often to the idea that our legacy only lives as long as we are remembered. Each creative act—whether a painting, a piece of writing, or a photograph—becomes an attempt to hold onto something that might otherwise fade.
My work blends magical realism with moments pulled from everyday life. Lately, I’ve been drawn to the tender awkwardness of girlhood—those early experiments with makeup, identity, and belonging—as metaphors for transformation and the quiet labor of self-making. Across mediums, I’m searching for emotional truth in the space between memory and imagination, the past and the present, the women I come from and the one I’m still becoming.
