Books made using a Coptic Stitch binding method were first used as early as the 2nd Century AD in Egypt. This binding can be used with a variety of cover materials such as wood, book board, or even ceramic. Learn the basics of this binding structure while making a Coptic Stitch sketchbook that opens flat.
