Ana Luisa González
Mixed Media
Ana Luisa González is a Visual Artist that specializes in painting and drawing with mixed media techniques. Her artwork has been exhibited in México, Germany, Chile and United States.
She is a world explorer whose journey has led her to live in various cities across Mexico as well as internationally in Canada, Chile, Germany and the United States, cultures from which she has been inspired and that are beautifully reflected in her practice.
She studied BA in Fine Arts, holds a diploma in Mexican Art History and a MA degree in Modern and Contemporary Art History and has collaborated on art restoration projects, field that has marked her artistic journey. There, she got a real sense of teamwork and appreciation of art in all its forms and temporalities, qualities that allowed her to co-create Atico, a multidisciplinary art group and serve as a teacher at a professional level at the School of Conservation and Restoration of Zacatecas. Her expertise in this field led her to conserve Diego Rivera’s work and important Mexican cultural Heritage, like the underground pre-Hispanic murals located in the Cathedral of Mexico City.
Currently, Ana Luisa carries out her artistic work daily in Omaha, Nebraska, having the challenge of integrating into a community she is eager to join emotionally and artistically through her practice.
