Aaron Derell Gregory


Native of Omaha, NE, Aaron Derell Gregory (he/him) began dancing at 16. He found Hip Hop Dance via TV and Movies in the 2000s and quickly developed a love for it. He began his technical training in Ballet, West African Dance, and Modern at Spelman College via Morehouse College. After graduation, He went on to earn his Masters in Dance Education from NYU. Aaron has taught Hip Hop dance Internationally for the Alvin Ailey Arts in Education Program, 92nd Street Y, Global Dance Hub, the YMCA, Dance 411, and Dozens of Inner City schools. He has also choreographed and performed nationally in the concert and commercial dance industries from 2008 to the Present. In 2018, Aaron started Love to Groove Movement School, LLC which has grown to a fun, community-based space for dance students of all ages. Aaron’s purpose is simply to love people through Dance!
