Co-op Art Academy gives students the opportunity to level up their artistic skills with week-long workshops in hand-building in ceramics, wheel throwing, linocut printmaking, and merchandising.

Students will learn from experienced community artists and study the techniques of the contemporary artists in North Omaha.

Enrollment is limited.

SESSION 1: July 6th-9th

10a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday

Track 1: Ceramics Wheel Throwing
Students will explore the basics of throwing on a ceramic pottery wheel. (Ages 12-17)

Track 2: Linocut Printmaking
Students will learn the basics of reductive printmaking, carving a linoleum block to create a series of printed images on paper. (Ages 12-17)

Cost for each:
$135 + registration fee

SESSION 2: July 13th-16th

10a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday

Track 1: Ceramics Hand-Building

Students will learn the basics of building sculpture in clay in this fun and interactive workshop. (Ages 12-17)

Track 2: Merchandising
Students will learn the basics of screen-printing to create custom apparel. (Ages 12-17)

Cost for each: $135 + registration fee

Please note that all camp registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to use your registration, you may choose one of the following options:

Credit: Receive a credit to use toward a future Union event or workshop.
